Shoe Care Guide

Proper care will keep your Resilience shoes looking distinguished and performing at their best for years to come.

Daily Care

  • Wipe down your shoes with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove dust and debris.

  • Allow your shoes to air out for at least 24 hours between wears.

  • Use cedar shoe trees to maintain shape and absorb moisture.

Deep Cleaning

1

Remove laces and any loose dirt with a soft brush.

2

Mix a small amount of mild soap with warm water. Dampen a soft cloth and gently clean the leather surface.

3

Wipe away soap residue with a clean, damp cloth.

4

Allow shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Never put leather shoes in the dryer.

Leather Conditioning

Apply a high-quality leather conditioner every 3-4 months to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking. Use a small amount on a soft cloth and work it into the leather in circular motions. Allow to absorb for 15-20 minutes, then buff with a clean cloth.

Proper Storage

  • Store shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • Use breathable shoe bags or boxes to protect from dust.

  • Rotate your shoes regularly to extend their lifespan.

What to Avoid

  • Never machine wash or dry your leather shoes.

  • Avoid exposing shoes to direct heat sources (radiators, heaters, direct sunlight).

  • Don't use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners on leather.
